Dear friends, the electronic Journal "Physics and Students" is intended for publication
of scientific research works of students and professors of the Physical Department on the
InterNet server of the Novosibirsk State University.
All the students of our Physics Department, starting with the second semester,
carry out small-scale investigations of physical phenomena according to the curriculum.
These investigations contribute to the scientific training works on experimental physics
during the first three years, the so-called course works. The results of these
investigations are defended by the students at seminars, and the best works participate
in a competition at the end of each semester. You can get acquainted with some of the
in our Journal.
Sometimes investigations are carried out jointly by the students and their professors,
or with the research workers of scientific institutes of the Novosibirsk Scientific Center.
These joint works can also be published in the Journal. Besides, the researchers taking
part in the joint works can publish their own papers in our Journal. This is above all
helpful for the students in selecting a subject of their further research work.
We shall be glad to receive student works from the Universities of different countries.
We hope that our Journal will assist in Science students' communications and in the mutual
interest when discussing scientific subjects. We hope also that you will find new friends
to discuss not only the problems of modern Physics.
